3. Empty the skimmer and pump strainer baskets. 4. Fill your pool to the manufacturer’s recommended level. 5. Inspect or have a professional look at all equipment, including the pump, filter, heater, diving board, ladders and chlorinator. Be certain they are properly installed and operational. 6. Take a sample of your pool water to your authorized Pool Season dealer for a complete analysis. The dealer will provide you with detailed instructions to balance your pool water. 7. Shock the pool with a Pool Season shock treatment to remove all organic waste. 8. Add an initial does of Pool Season algaecide to prevent algae. 9. Prepare the entire pool with a sanitizer recommended by your Pool Season pool professional. 10. Run the filter system as recommended by the manufacturer for proper circulation. During this time, give the pool a thorough brush-down, working along the wall. Be sure to vacuum the pool bottom as well. |
